About Silverhill, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Baldwin County, Silverhill is a small town with only about 700 residents. It is found within the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley Micro Statistical Area and is situated three miles west of Robertsdale. State Route 104 runs through the center of the community, connecting it to Robertsdale and Fairhope to the west. The Baldwin County Public Schools system serves the community, and while students can attend elementary school here, they will need to continue with their studies at Central Baldwin Middle School and Robertsdale High School, both of which are found in Robertsdale.

There are a few notable attractions located in Silverhill despite the town’s small size. The Blue Moon Farm is a popular destination for singers and songwriters to come together. There are also some great specialty shops located in the community, including Silverhill Antiques and Furniture, Silverhill Market Gift and Garden, and Ray O’Sunshine Growers. The Wales West Light Railway is also located about five miles southwest of town, and this destination features a replica of an old, Welsh mountain railway.

Silverhill is part of a humid subtropical zone, but residents will experience distinctive seasons during the year. During the summer, temperatures are hot and quite humid. Average high temperatures tend to reach the 90s, but high humidity can make indoor temperatures extremely uncomfortable. Residents will need to utilize their home central air units to stay comfortable, and these systems will also help to improve indoor air quality by removing dust and allergens.

During the winter, residents appreciate the mild weather conditions, as high temperatures usually reach the upper 50s or even the lower 60s. However, cold fronts do push into the area and can bring along freezing temperatures. Without a heat pump or furnace in place in the event of one of these weather events, indoor temperatures could become dangerously cold.
