Robertsdale is home to a few notable things to see and do. Community members enjoy trips to the Robertsdale Public Library to check out books and other media materials, and outdoor recreation is available at Garrett Park. There are several specialty shops located in Robertsdale, including Farm Fresh Meats and Kyser Seafood Market. The climate of Robertsdale is part of a humid subtropical zone, which is typical for this part of the Gulf Coast. Winters are short and mild, and in January, temperatures tend to average in the upper 50s. Despite these mild conditions that attract snowbirds from the north, freezing temperatures do occur several nights per season, so residents will need to invest in a heat pump or furnace to keep their interior climates comfortable.
Summers in Robertsdale are hot and humid. Typical conditions include highs in the 90s with lows only falling to the mid-70s, so without central air, indoor temperatures could get quite unpleasant. Evening or afternoon thunderstorms are also common during the summer, and with high humidity levels, it is even more important that residents have a cool retreat to escape to during these months. An experienced HVAC professional can set homeowners up with a system to keep indoor temperatures comfortable despite the oppressive heat.
